Pivoting with Covid

We are in very scary times. To be honest, I am scared and I don’t know what to expect. The current situation affects us all in one way or another. Some worst than others. COVID-19 has an impact on many businesses.

Today, I am going to share with you some ideas and tips that you can implement in your marketing strategy to accommodate what’s going on in the world. Basically, how our digital marketing agency is pivoting with Covid. 

The first and most important one is to keep your attitude optimistic. You have to stay positive! Take this time while “quarantining” to regroup and review your goals as a company. Be patient, be compassionate, and be creative!

Now, more than ever, it is important to focus on your customers’ needs. Now is the time to reevaluate your current marketing strategy and to improve it. You can reframe the plan that you are following and adapt it to Covid – 19. It’s best to acknowledge the feelings of your customer base.

Research more and be proactive. Find new ways of possible opportunities. Use Design Thinking Methods for a better understanding of your target audience and to respond accurately to their needs.

Use this moment to build an authentic connection with your customers. Be present in the digital world. Use social media channels to keep them updated with your business. Provide some interesting insights about your company. Use Instagram Stories and Facebook Live to create an attractive way to introduce your team to your audience. You can also show the process of creating your product.

Next, highlight the advantages your company provides in times of a crisis. Your audience is scared and anxious too. Touch on what you’re doing to ensure the safety of your customers.  

Lastly, try to adjust your marketing plan and actions in the best possible way in order to achieve your goals. Take this period to improve the processes within the company and finally, get ready for better times because they are coming really soon! That is how we are pivoting with Covid!
